Features of Qidian Automation Industrial Grade 0.2 Level Accuracy Current Transmitter

1. A true RMS two-wire transmitter specifically designed for measuring AC currents at 50/60 Hz in power automation.
2. Utilizes a single-turn perforated core structure that integrates the current transformer and the current transmitter into a unified design.
3. Equipped with six comprehensive protection functions:
(1) Input overload protection;
(2) Output overcurrent limiting protection;
(3) Long-term short-circuit protection for output current;
(4) Two-wire port transient surge protection against lightning and surge currents with TVS suppression;
(5) Operating power supply over-voltage limit protection ≤ 35V;
(6) Operating power supply reverse connection protection.
4. The three-wire output wiring is an advanced output method among current analog serial ports, with six major advantages:
(1) Less susceptible to parasitic thermocouples and voltage drops along the wire due to resistance and temperature drift, allowing the use of very cheap, finer twisted pair wires;
(2) When the output resistance of the current source is sufficiently large, the voltage induced in the wire loop by the magnetic field coupling will not have a significant effect because the current generated by the interference source is minimal; generally, using twisted pairs can reduce interference;
(3) Capacitive interference may cause errors related to receiver resistance. For a 4-20mA two-wire loop, the receiver resistance is typically 250Ω (with a sampling Uout = 1-5V), which is low enough to not produce significant errors, allowing for longer permissible wire lengths compared to voltage telemetry systems;
(4) Each individual reading or recording device can be switched among different channels with varying wire lengths without causing accuracy differences due to unequal wire lengths;
(5) Using 4mA for the zero level makes it very convenient to determine if the delivery line is open or if the sensor is damaged (0mA state);
(6) Surge protection and lightning protection devices can easily be added to the two-wire output, which is beneficial for safety against lightning and explosions.
