1 Project Overview
Ansteel Group Xinyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has undertaken the construction of a desulfurization system for the 1250 m3 blast furnace hot blast stove flue gas. The project adopts a calcium-based fixed bed dry desulfurization process route. After the project is put into operation, the indicators will meet the technical agreement and environmental requirements.
Project duration: The project is expected to be ready for operation within 60 days from the date of civil construction handover and installation.

3 Desulfurization Process Route for Xingang Hot Blast Stove
3.1 Process flow
Hot blast stove flue gas → Heat exchanger → Fixed-bed desulfurization tower → Desulfurization booster fan → Original chimney
3.2 Loading system
The loading equipment consists of: Ton bag for desulfurizing agent loading → Overhead electric hoist for top-loading from the silo → Loading hopper → Inside the desulfurization tower.
3.3 Discharging system
Desulfurization tower hopper → Electrically operated slide gate valve → Star-shaped ash discharge valve → Screw conveyor → Bucket elevator → Waste material bin
