Product Functional Specifications
1.1 Basic Functions
Low-frequency square wave excitation, excitation frequencies: 1/16 of grid frequency, 1/20 of grid frequency, 1/25 of grid frequency.
High-frequency square wave excitation, excitation frequency: 1/2 of grid frequency (suitable for pulp measurement) (optional).

1.2 Special Functions
Power-off time recording function, automatically records the interruption time of the instrument system power supply, calculates the missing flow.
Hourly total recording function, records the total flow in hours, suitable for time-based metering.
Infrared handheld operation keyboard, enables remote non-contact operation of all functions of the converter.

2. Converter Basic Circuit
The electromagnetic flowmeter converter provides a stable excitation current to the excitation coil of the electromagnetic flow sensor. The preamplifier amplifies and converts the induced electromotive force from the sensor into standard current or frequency signals, facilitating flow display, control, and regulation.

3.1 Execution Standard
The design, production, and testing of the L-magB series electromagnetic flowmeter converter comply with the "JJG-1033-2007 Electromagnetic Flowmeter" standard.
3.2 Basic Parameters and Performance Indicators
3.2.1 Nominal Diameter of Matching Sensors (mm):

3.2.2 Matching Sensor Requirements:
Sensor signal sensitivity: At a flow rate of 1 meter per second, the sensor outputs 150μV to 200μV.
For the L-magB electromagnetic flowmeter converter, the excitation circuit uses four 62.5mA currents to form 250mA. Each 62.5mA current is controlled by a 20Ω precision resistor. Therefore, users can choose different excitation currents by changing the number of precision resistors.
The factory setting for the converter is 250mA current. Similarly, if using three precision resistors, it corresponds to 187.5mA; if using two precision resistors, it corresponds to 125mA.
Sensor excitation coil resistance:
500mA excitation current: 20-30Ω.
250mA excitation current: 50-60Ω.
187mA excitation current: 60-80Ω.
125mA excitation current: 100-120Ω.
