The new type of one-to-two series-connected medium-frequency smelting furnace features the capability to operate two furnace bodies simultaneously with a single set of medium-frequency power supply. The equipment achieves a utilization rate of 100%. By simply adjusting the power knob (or digital control panel), the total power of the medium-frequency power supply can be flexibly distributed between the two furnace bodies, enabling one furnace body to melt while the other maintains the temperature. This allows for one-time casting of large castings or continuous supply of molten iron to the production line. The continuous and uninterrupted smelting mode significantly enhances production capacity, making it practical and energy-efficient, earning the trust and favor of a wide range of customers.
Advanced Computerized Smelting Management System
The on-site smelting management computer, digital control board, and PLC, among other devices, form a network system. It can be extended to be controlled and managed in the office through the use of a switch. Equipped with Ethernet ports, USB interfaces, and a unique IP address, it allows data collection, transmission, and monitoring of the equipment from anywhere globally. This provides you with remote diagnostics, allowing for the rapid and timely troubleshooting.
A Fully Digital on-site Smelting Control System
It can achieve automated operations such as automatic temperature control, automatic drying furnace, power distribution display, intelligent smelting management, and the display and storage of fault information.
This equipment can be fully automated and includes a PLC programmable controller, HMI (Human Machine Interface) or industrial control computer system, industrial control configuration software, and various sensors. It can be configured with foundry equipment and operations, and can be connected to various tools, including remote displays, temperature measuring devices, thermal analyzers, spectrometers, demand controllers, and large-screen displays, among others. Remote Control Console
When the medium-frequency power cabinet is placed in the basement, the remote control console is placed on the furnace platform, allowing for functions such as starting, stopping, and resetting the medium-frequency power supply, among other operations. The remote control console is equipped with a large touchscreen, PLC, and an HMI (Human Machine Interface), forming a convenient on-site smelting manager. Its functions include automatic furnace drying, cold furnace startup, fault diagnosis, displaying and storing fault information, showing operational data, system status display, and more.
Manufacturing Features of Electric Furnaces
The design of medium-frequency coreless induction furnaces includes two dust removal systems: a dust hood and a dust-collecting ring.
The dust hood (ring) uses a certain air volume to capture the dust and waste gases generated during smelting, achieving and improving the effect of exhaust gas emissions, designed to meet environmental protection and assessment requirements. Cyclone Dust Hood:

In comparison to the cyclone type, it is designed without a forward and backward tilting mechanism, making it easier to install. It is suitable for semi-automated or manual feeding and discharging operations in foundries where the use of dust hoods is not feasible due to certain feeding methods.

★ Tilting Furnace Oil Cylinder System: Includes a hydraulic pump station and a tilting furnace control panel. It is designed for full-load tilting and consists of a hydraulic pump, drive motor, emergency pump, motor start device, oil tank, return and suction oil filtering device (with explosion-proof valve). Furnace tilting, stopping, and resetting are achieved through buttons and handles on the hydraulic control panel. The furnace can be tilted 95 degrees, pouring out all the molten metal, and can be stopped at any desired position during the tilting process.
★ Furnace Switching: Furnace switching is an electrically operated, quick-change switch used in medium-frequency electric furnaces: easy to operate, safe, and reliable!
★ Automatic Temperature Control: You can pre-set the desired temperature range for the furnace water, and one-button activation achieves automatic temperature control. Compared to traditional manual temperature control, automatic temperature control is more time-saving and convenient, more sensitive and precise, easier to control furnace water temperature, reduces oxidation and burn loss, and results in better product quality with uniform metal composition.
★ Automatic Furnace Drying: Furnace drying is a relatively complex and lengthy temperature-rise process. To extend the lifespan of the medium-frequency furnace lining and reduce production costs, correct furnace construction and drying processes are crucial. Our innovative automatic furnace drying function allows pre-setting time and temperature requirements for different drying phases based on the temperature requirements of different furnace lining refractory materials. It starts with a single button press, automatically adjusts and continuously controls the medium-frequency power output to control the heating rate, preventing the lining from cracking, achieving the goal of automatic curve furnace drying. This not only avoids human errors but also reduces labor time and intensity.
★ Anti-Penetration Furnace Alarm: Hengyang's unique dual anti-penetration furnace alarm function uses a combination of differential current and direct current injection for comprehensive and rapid protection against leakage and any ground fault in the furnace system. The detection system has an early warning function, and when the lining becomes thin to a certain extent, it will sound an alarm, alerting the user to the approaching end of the lining's lifespan. This helps in achieving safe production by anticipating furnace penetration, preventing the problem of being unable to start the machine due to continuously using it until it's impossible to operate when the furnace is filled.
★ Furnace Weighting Function: According to customer requirements, a weighing system can be installed on the furnace body, and the data on molten iron weight is transmitted to the control platform PLC and displayed on the touchscreen, making it easy to visually assess the current weight of the molten liquid in the furnace, facilitating adjustments to components and production planning. Moreover, the system can achieve automatic smelting, automatically control the weighing and batching of furnace materials according to the formula of various grades of material lists, automatically compensate for errors, automatically alarm for overshot, and print and record batching data. High batching accuracy and speed are ensured, guaranteeing stable molten iron composition and providing a powerful guarantee for producing high-quality molten iron.
★ Furnace Lining Push-out Structure: Once the furnace temperature has cooled to below 400°C, the furnace body is rotated to a 90-degree angle, the push-out cylinder is hoisted with a crane, and the cylinder flange is placed in the pre-designed guide rail at the bottom of the furnace body. The hydraulic pump station is started to easily push out the furnace lining. This reduces work intensity and improves work efficiency.
