Project Introduction
Jiangsu XX Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. Eight Rolling Mill Plant, 3#, 4#, 5#, and 6# heating furnace flue gas supporting construction of desulfurization system. The project adopts calcium-based fixed-bed dry desulfurization process route. After the project is put into operation, the indicators meet the technical agreement and environmental protection requirements.

Desulfurization Process Route
The fixed-bed desulfurization technology route is adopted. The flue gas passes through the axial-flow (counter-flow) fixed-bed desulfurization tower. After purification, the purified flue gas enters the chimney for standard emission after being pressurized by a booster fan. Processing 100% of the flue gas at full load ensures that the pollutant indicators after treatment meet the design requirements.
Requirements:
(1)Both the coal smoke and the blast furnace gas smoke must be desulfurized separately to prevent explosion from mixing.
(2)Auxiliary exhaust gas smoke must be desulfurized simultaneously.
Process Flow
Blast Furnace Gas Flow: Heating furnace flue gas outlet - Original induced draft fan - Desulfurization tower - Additional fan - Existing chimney.
Coal Smoke Flow: Heating furnace flue gas outlet - Original induced draft fan - Flue - Desulfurization tower - Additional fan - Existing chimney.
Natural Exhaust Flow: Heating furnace flue gas outlet - Blending into the coal smoke exhaust system - Desulfurization tower - Additional fan (coal smoke) - Existing chimney.
Charging System
The charging device consists of: ton-bag packing of desulfurizer → overhead electric hoist for top loading at the silo → loading hopper → inside the desulfurization tower.
Discharging System
Discharging from the cone section of the desulfurization tower → electric plug valve → star-shaped ash discharge valve → screw conveyor → ton-bag packaging.
