Product Description
Magnesia chrome bricks exhibit excellent resistance to slag corrosion, high-temperature spalling, vacuum damage, oxidation-reduction, and abrasion erosion. They are widely used in various high-quality steel refining furnaces (RH or DH vacuum degassing furnaces, VOD steel ladle vacuum degassing furnaces, AOD argon-oxygen refining furnaces, ultra-high-power electric furnaces, etc.), as working linings in large non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces (flash furnaces, converters, anode furnaces, Caldor furnaces, etc.), vulnerable areas such as hot spots, slag lines, tuyere zones, and erosion zones.
Magnesia chrome bricks are mainly made from magnesite and chromite as the main raw materials, and are formed by high-pressure molding and high-temperature firing.
Depending on the raw materials used, magnesia chrome bricks can be classified into several major categories: rebonded magnesia chrome bricks, directly bonded magnesia chrome bricks, semi-rebonded magnesia chrome bricks, and silicate-bonded magnesia chrome bricks.
