Introduction of the fixed bed desulphurisation project for the flue gas from the reheating furnace of Shandong Juneng Special Steel
Shandong Juneng Special Steel Rolling Mill currently has three production lines: Line 2, Line 3, and the New Rolling Line. Each line is equipped with one reheating furnace.
In response to national environmental requirements and calls for the coordinated development with the ecological environment, a flue gas fixed-bed desulfurization system will be constructed as part of the reheating furnace to achieve synergy between the industry and the ecological environment.
The project is undertaken by Shanghai Xuan Ding Metallurgical Technology Group Co., Ltd, with a capacity of 100T/H for line 2 reheating furnace and 120T/H for line3/new rolling line reheating furnace, using blast furnace gas double storage heat combustion technology;

General Requirements of The Project:
Combined with the characteristics of the reheating furnace flue gas and the current comprehensive treatment technology for flue gas environmental protection, this project adopts the fixed-bed dry desulphurisation process. The project facilities configuration and equipment selection should be scientific and reasonable, with mature experience, advanced structure, easy operation and high level of automation control, as well as safe, reliable and energy-saving operation, and the performance configuration should reach the advanced level of similar reheating furnace environmental protection facilities in China. After operation, the project should meet the national and Shandong ultra-low emission requirements standards, including the chimney flue gas particulate matter, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide emission concentrations of less than 10mg/Nm3, 35mg/Nm3, 100mg/Nm3 respectively under the conditions of 8% of the benchmark oxygen content.
The fixed bed dry desulfurization technology is employed, with a separate set of desulfurization systems for the flue gas and coal gas systems. The system configuration includes fixed bed desulfurization towers, valves, and pipelines, as well as additional equipment and facilities such as exhaust fans and electrical automation systems.
The desulfurization tower is an axial countercurrent evenly distributed desulfurization tower from Shanghai Xuanding, designed with an internal structure to ensure uniform distribution of materials and air distribution.
The desulphurising agent is produced by Shanghai Xuan Ding's own factory, which can ensure the performance index of the desulphurising agent to the maximum extent.
