The bi-directional metal-seated butterfly valve is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, food, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and paper. It can be installed in industrial pipelines with temperatures up to 425°C and mediums such as gas, air, steam, water, seawater, and various oils for flow control and medium shut-off.

This valve comes with various actuation methods including manual, worm gear, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and electro-hydraulic linkage actuators, enabling remote control and automation. The metal-seated butterfly valve series is characterized by its long lifespan and energy-saving design. The valve structure is designed based on the three-dimensional eccentric principle, and the valve seat features a multi-layer structure compatible with both hard and soft seals. The manufacturing process is exquisite and advanced. The main components of this product include the valve body, disc, multi-layered valve seat, stem, and actuation mechanism. As a result, it finds extensive use in pipelines handling corrosive media such as metallurgy, power, petroleum, chemical, air, combustible gases, and water supply and drainage.

Features

The design of this butterfly valve is based on the three-dimensional eccentric principle, ensuring an idealized spatial movement trajectory of the sealing surfaces. The absence of friction and interference among sealing surfaces, combined with appropriate sealing material selection, guarantees reliable sealing, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and wear resistance of the butterfly valve. Its main features are as follows:

1. Low opening torque, flexible and convenient, labor-saving and energy-saving.

2. The three-dimensional eccentric structure causes the disc to tighten as it closes, ensuring reliable sealing performance with no leakage.

Bi-Directional Butterfly Valve Characteristics and Performance

The adjustable and replaceable sealing enhances efficiency and extends the lifespan. The floating seal structure allows the sealing ring to adjust its position according to the closing force of the disc under high-temperature or cold conditions, achieving perfect alignment between the disc and the seat, uniform sealing, and zero leakage. The three-eccentric structure provides sealing upon closure and separation upon opening, truly achieving bi-directional sealing. The axial positioning device resolves the issue of axial disc movement causing partial pressure damage, wear, and leaks on the upper and lower sealing surfaces. It also allows the valve actuator to be installed in any direction (for butterfly valves with a diameter above 500mm, horizontal installation is recommended).
