Characteristics and Application of Water-sealed Gate Valves
Water-sealed gate valves can be used in intelligent backwater cooling systems of thermal power plants and in the petroleum and chemical industries, as well as in air-isolation pipelines where substances need to be disconnected or connected. The applicable media include water, refined oil, steam, and non-corrosive gases. The working pressure ranges from 1.6 to 10.0 MPa, and the working temperature ranges from 0 to 425°C.
Features and Scope of Application:
The S/Z type gate valve is characterized by its flexible and rapid opening and closing, with reliable sealing performance. It generally uses a double gate plate with bidirectional elastic sealing.
The product features a compact, well-organized structure that is easy to maintain and has a long service life.
It is used as a switch in equipment lines and should generally be in either the open or fully closed position; it is not suitable for throttling.
The gate valve interfaces are available in flange and butt-welding types, with manual and electric driving methods, offering diverse structures.
Gate valves can be categorized based on their seat configuration into wedge gate valves, parallel gate valves, and vertical gate valves. Wedge gate valves can be further classified into single gate plate, double gate plate, and elastic gate plate types. According to the position of the threads in high-pressure gate valves, they are divided into rising stem gate valves and non-rising stem gate valves.
