Product Introduction
Heat storage brick, refractory checker brick, porous silicon brick belongs to acidic refractory materials, with excellent resistance to acid slag erosion. It has a high softening temperature under load, reaching 1640-1670ºC, and maintains relatively stable volume during long-term use at high temperatures. Silicon brick is mainly composed of scaly quartz, tabular quartz, and a small amount of residual quartz and glass phase, constituting an acidic refractory material.
Lightweight thermal insulation silicon brick is mainly used as insulation material in the glass industry furnaces and acid kilns such as melting furnaces and coke ovens.
For the glass kiln heat storage chamber and hot blast stove, silicon 36-hole heat storage brick porous silicon brick features low linear expansion, low residual quartz content, small true density, high softening point under load, and a regular appearance with precise dimensions. It is mainly used in the high-temperature areas of blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, glass kiln furnaces' heat storage chambers, upper furnace bodies, and upper checker bodies.

Product Features
(1) High softening temperature under load. The silicon brick in the coke oven can withstand the dynamic load of the coal charging car on the furnace top at high temperatures and can be used for an extended period without deformation.
(2) High thermal conductivity. Since coke is formed by heating coal in the coking chamber through the conduction of the combustion chamber walls, the silicon brick used to build the combustion chamber walls should have a high thermal conductivity. In the temperature range of the coke oven combustion chamber, silicon brick has a higher thermal conductivity compared to clay bricks and high alumina bricks. Densely packed coke oven silicon bricks can have a 10% to 20% higher thermal conductivity than ordinary coke oven silicon bricks.
(3) Good thermal shock resistance at high temperatures. Due to the periodic coal charging and coke discharging in the coke oven, there is a significant temperature fluctuation on both sides of the silicon brick in the combustion chamber walls. Normal operation within the temperature fluctuation range does not cause severe cracking and spalling of silicon bricks, as silicon bricks exhibit good thermal shock resistance above 600°C.
(4) High-temperature volume stability. In well-crystallized silicon bricks, the residual quartz is less than 1%, and the expansion during heating is concentrated before 600°C, with a significant slowdown afterward. During normal operation of the coke oven, where the temperature does not drop below 600°C, the changes in the brick structure are minimal, maintaining long-term stability and tightness.
