Product Introduction
Low cement castables use calcium aluminate cement as a binder, with CaO content less than 2.5%. Unlike traditional castables, low cement castables replace most or all of the cement with ultra-fine powder (particle size less than 10 microns) that has similar or identical chemical composition to the main material and has cohesive properties. They scientifically utilize optimized particle gradation, micro-powder, particle morphology, and other factors. Small amounts of dispersants (water reducers) and appropriate retarders are added to form a composite admixture. Compared with traditional refractory castables, they have the following characteristics: "low cement content; higher density and lower porosity; higher ambient curing strength; good volume stability; and small volume shrinkage after drying and calcination.

Product Applications
Low cement castables are mainly used in industries such as metallurgy, electric power, non-ferrous metals, petrochemicals, and building materials. Applications include high-temperature areas such as the bottoms of glass kiln channels, front and rear door covers of cement kilns, and the front end of coolers. They are also used in the front and rear kiln mouths, coal injection pipes, various heat treatment furnaces like reheating and soaking furnaces, linings of medium-frequency induction furnaces, high-temperature wear-resistant linings of petroleum and petrochemical catalytic cracking reactors, and other industrial furnace linings. The construction methods used are site casting, smearing, and tamping.

Description |

These are used for applications such as furnace beds in heating furnaces, steel ladles, and kiln mouths of cement rotary kilns.
