Continuous Casting Machine Overview
The production process that continuously casts high-temperature molten steel into billets with a specific cross-sectional shape and dimensions is known as continuous steel casting. The equipment required to complete this process is called a continuous casting system. The core equipment for continuous steel casting includes casting equipment, the main body of the continuous casting machine, cutting area equipment, and equipment for collecting and conveying dummy bars, forming an integrated electromechanical and hydraulic system known as the continuous casting machine.

Components of a Continuous Casting Machine
The primary equipment components include a vibration table, crystallizer, straightening machine, flexible (or rigid) dummy bar traction, roller conveyors, conveyance tracks, steel storage, Siemens frequency conversion electrical control, pump stations, and more. The continuous casting machine is designed for cost-effectiveness, rapid results, material savings, and minimal factory floor space, making it an ideal complementary device for medium and small steel plants.

Arc Continuous Casting Machine
The arc continuous casting machine uses multi-roll transmission, decentralized tension, and continuous straightening, which minimizes the deformation between the billet's surface and the two phases. The straightening machine frame, rollers, and bearing seats all feature internal cooling, contributing to higher billet quality and extended equipment life. The crystallizer of the continuous casting machine is made of arched steel pipe with an inner surface treated with hard chrome, enhancing its longevity. After solidifying within the crystallizer, the molten steel undergoes regulation by first and second cooling water and then receives spray cooling along the arched track. It then enters the straightening machine and is cut to fixed lengths after full solidification.
