Project Introduction
The existing hot blast stoves at Hebei Iron and Steel currently utilize the SDS dry desulfurization (sodium bicarbonate) process. In order to better meet environmental requirements, address the environmental pollution caused by sodium salt by-products from the sodium bicarbonate desulfurization method, and comply with the national policy of ultra-low emissions, adhering to the concept of "green mountains and clear waters are mountains of gold and silver", and following the requirements of the Emergency Circular No. 128 of Hebei Province Ecology and Environment Department, regarding the issuance of the "Guidelines for Environmental Performance Excellence in Hebei Iron and Steel Industry" in response to Jihuan Ecology in 2022, it is proposed to transform the original sodium bicarbonate process and replace it with a calcium-based ultra-fine powder direct injection process to thoroughly solve the problem of sodium salt by-products.
